Thanksgiving 2005
Accra, Ghana

I was able to return to Accra for Thanksgiving, which was really a great time! Here I am ready to
hang my clothes out on the line, and since we are always wearing skirts, as soon as Sherri and I
put on the apron with the basket on our hip we can't help but laugh at each other- we just look like
little old ladies! :)
We had a big feast at the Guesthouse with turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls, corn, beans, pie, ice cream, etc.
It was WONDERFUL!!!!!!
Two of our Dutch friends joined us in Accra to celebrate their first ever Thanksgiving meal.
Here we are after our tummy's are full!
And since we were pretty much in charge of the meal... that means cleanup! With our
nice assembly line going, it didn't take long at all.
Being the Vikings fan that I am, I cannot believe I am putting this on my website. But I
pretty much live with two major Packer fans, and Sherri brought along her cheesehead and jersey
from the States, so Maggie thought it would be fun to try them on for size!

The following day Sherri, the Dutchies and I ventured out to the beach. It was a beautiful day,
the water felt great and the atmosphere was fabulous!

Joni, Maggie, and Pascal.
They were telling me I looked like a Professional Beach Volleyball
player with my suit and sunglasses.... if they only knew my volleyball skills!!!
