Mom and Dad's Visit- cont'd

Next stop was Mole National Park... and it was hot!
We took a walking safari at 3:30 in the afternoon... not a good idea in 110+ degrees!
Took a tour of a farm in a neighboring village. Here the farmer is resting and cooking his lunch over the fire.

We visited the famous mosque in Larabanga. This is the oldest mosque in Ghana, and one of the
oldest in West Africa.
My mom showing the kids the picture she had just taken of them.

These kids sure liked to pose!

My mom talking with some kids, and my dad is discussing with my friend Abdul, who was also our tour guide.
If you notice the marks on the wall beside these kids, the marks were used as their calendar, to assist them in keeping time.
