Total Eclipse of the Sun
On March 29th, 2006, at 9:11 a.m. I was able to witness a total eclipse of the sun!
Here is Sherri and I wearing our special eclipse glasses before the big moment.
Here we all our outside of our office in Accra, checking out the total eclipse.
Notice how dark it is outside! I was able to get the entire thing on video.
Here it is! The total eclipse! The moon remained in front of the sun for three minutes. People from Brazil all the way to Mongolia
were able to witness it.
People all over the city and Southern Ghana burst into songs of praise when the eclipse happened.
It was definitely the talk of the town for the next two weeks!
