Brick Making

Chiana, Ghana

The youth of the BCA gathered one day to help out a member of their church. Their task? Making bricks
to build a new room to his compound.

After digging up the dirt, mixing the cement, forming the bricks, they take sticks and lay them all around the
outsides of the bricks, making sure no livestock will walk on them.

So as we (Teresa and I) were taking pictures, the guys would ask if we wanted to help, so I said sure!
If you could only hear their chears and laughs when a white girl (in a skirt no less) steps up to the plate and
digs on in with them!

Teresa jumped in on the action too!

Just some onlookers...

and cute ones at that!
