Danja Hospital-Leprosarium
Welcome to Danja, Niger! Danja is the home of another SIM Hospital, specifically a Leprosarium,
caring for patients suffering from leprosy.
Patients from all over Niger and Nigeria come to Danja for treatment. Unfortunately, they
wait too long for medical help, and the result is loss of fingers, toes, and other
body deformities.
The man pictured above is one of the few Christian patients at the hospital right now.
