ELWA Dental Clinic
Dr. Jay Maxfield spent the last two months training and teaching at the ELWA dental clinic.
In his short time here he was able to provide dentures for over 50 people. Here he has taken
one of the molds he made of someone's mouth and is fitting and shaping the new teeth.
This person will receive quite a few new teeth!
Here he is showing me his supply of teeth he has to choose from.
During his short stay here he has almost used them all up!
And here are the finished products. During the war the rebels would do anything to you, including
taking your dentures. Keep in mind those were 8 year old children carrying machine guns.
The clinic is brand new to ELWA, and one of the few dentist offices in the country.
Root canal... ouch!
