My Home in Liberia
I would like to introduce to you my new home for the next two months. It is located on the
campus of ELWA (Eternal Love Winning Africa) which is a partner ministry of SIM.
It is a 137 acre campus equipped with a school, hospital, radio station, clinic, pharmacy, and youth camp ministries.
ELWA was started by SIM many years ago, but since the war came, it was handed over to the Nationals to run, and they are doing
a fabulous job!
I am living with two other short-termers with SIM, one working as a nurse, and the other in youth ministry.
Ok, so this is the view from our living room, or front door.
And once I walk those fifty steps out my front door, this is what I see...
Not bad, eh?
I was given a challenge from a former Missionary in Liberia to get in the water every day that I am here... that means
getting my head completely under... so far, so good!
