My first helicopter trip...

Here lies the sunken ship in Greenvilee which was taken out during the war.
This ship was carrying in arms for Charles Taylor to supply his troops.

For one full day two UN helicopters, such as this one, were circling around above us.
Apparently a man was refusing to remove himself from the Firestone Plantation in the
area, so extra security was needed, just in case.

Another funny sign I found on the door of a little shop:
"If love was something to nail I would have ask a carpenter to nail our love together then no more separation."

Let me tell you, that shop owner thought I was crazy for taking a picture of this of all things!

After a few wonderful days visiting the people in Greenville, I left Naomi behind and returned
to Monrovia to continue my work there. Here are two more choppers taking off from the airstrip there.

The ride home was a little more exciting than the ride to Greenville. We ran into some rain, and spent most of the hour
and a half dodging the storms... for a while there it felt like we were dodging bullets! But we made it safely to Monrovia.

Thank you UN for the great ride!
