Samaritan's Purse-
Rainbow Town Orphanage
I went out with Samaritan's Purse one day out to the Rainbow Town Orphanage, one
of the many places they work. The woman who started this orphanage was running from the
rebels in the war, when one of them put his gun down and told her to take the children. She responded that she didn't have any children. He pointed to the bush, and there she found thirty-some
children tied together, and left. She indeed took the children, and has accepted many more.

I was also able to witness one of the distribution days of the shoeboxes that
Samaritan's Purse hands out.
A Samaritan's Purse worker explains to one of the older boys in the orphanage how to
upkeep the fishing ponds that have been installed and stocked.
Lauren spends most of her time here at the orphanage with these kids, it's very
obvious that they love her!
